Yes, DJcity works with PRS and GEMA to follow all licensing rules in their respective territories.
What type of music does DJcity provide?
DJcity specializes in club and radio music for DJs, including hip-hop, house, R&B, Latin, trap, twerk, deep house, reggae, dancehall and other popular genres. You can browse and search our entire catalog here.
Does DJcity’s catalog contain classics and throwbacks?
No, our licenses allow us to promote new music only.
Can I keep the music?
Yes, downloaded tracks are yours to keep.
What type of files does DJcity provide for download?
We strive to provide the highest quality MP3 files available. Files with bitrates lower than 320kbps are noted as such and replaced with higher quality versions as soon as they become available. DJcity never posts low quality radio rips.
Is there a download limit?
There is no limit to the number of tracks you can download. However, there is a limit of three downloads per version of each track. This means for each individual track in our library, you can download the clean version three times, the dirty version three times, the instrumental version three times, etc.
How do I download a track?
After you’ve become a subscriber, click a track and submit a rating of one to five. A download link will then appear.
Why do I have to review each track?
Artists and record labels allow DJcity to provide subscribers with new music on the basis that feedback reports are delivered for every track.
Do the tracks work with Serato, Traktor, Rekordbox and other DVS software?
Yes, all of the tracks in DJcity’s catalog are compatible with the leading DVS software, including Serato, Traktor and Rekordbox. Every MP3 comes pre-filled with the following metadata: artist, track title and BPM. Standardized cue points and beatgrids are also included.
Do you offer music videos?
DJcity currently does not have the license to distribute music videos.
Am I allowed to include music that I download from DJcity in my mixes?
Yes, you may include music for promotional purposes as long as you follow the rules of your distribution platform (Soundcloud, Mixcloud, YouTube, etc.).
I can't find a track that used to be on DJcity. Where did it go?
Tracks remain in DJcity’s catalog for about six months, but sometimes longer. After that period, tracks may be removed from the site in order to comply with our promotional licenses. The availability period may vary for each release, and can change without notice.
How do I get my music on DJcity?
Send it to our music director here or contact a staff member directly.
How do I update my billing information?
To update your credit card on file, please call our office during business hours at 855-4-DJCITY.
What payment methods does DJcity accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Payments from DJcity UK subscribers are only accepted in pounds via PayPal.
Why was I charged $90 more than once?
DJcity's subscription service automatically renews every three months unless you choose to cancel. You can submit a cancellation request here.

How do I cancel my account?
To end your automatic billing, please select "cancel my record pool subscription" here. You will receive a confirmation within two business days.
Our subscription fee is $90 billed every 3 months. After requesting a cancellation, you will have full access to the record pool until the end of your 3 month cycle.
