Urban Momentum Dance Week 2003 brought the world's best dancers together to represent all forms of urban dance: b-boying, funk styles, hip hop, capoeira, house, and abstract moves. The Momentum Contest Format is totally unique because it gives dancers the freedom to choose their own music allowing dancers of different styles to compete on a level playing field. The weekend consisted of fierce battles including an individual female contest for $1000 and a team contest for $2000.
